Well, we don't have our window treatments yet and we've hung nothing on the walls, but we are pretty much done and I wanted to get this posted before I become so completely bored by this topic! It has consumed my life since last spring when our house got struck by lightning and we were forced into a much, much needed remodel.

So, here goes nothing!

Our house was built in 1956 and the kitchen had never been updated. Before the fire we were working with an "all electric kitchen" with beautiful (but barely functional) chrome ovens, a 36" cooktop and site-built cabinets.

After the fire, we were able to widen the kitchen by 3', relocate our laundry from the garage to the old pantry, rebuild all the cabinets (with site-built), add an island and a banquette and get all new appliances.

The specs of our kitchen are:

Cabinets are site built with quarter-sawn maple veneer, clear finish, Ikea pulls; Island is painted with Sherwin Williams "Dove Grey". Walls are painted with NoVoc "

Vent fan - Zephyr 42"

Wolf cook top (gas 36")

Clean up: Kohler, Grohe Minta faucet

Prep sink: Kohler, Danze faucet

Fridge - Thermador 48"

Ovens - Kenmore Pro

Wine chiller - KitchenAide

D/W - Kenmore Elite

Countertops - Caesarstone "Dusty Stones" on perimeter, "Organic White" on island

Floors - Marmoleum

Backsplash is 4x12 white polished glass, 4x12 blue ceramic tile, 2.5x12 cut limestone "lagos azul"
