Per the designer, the cabinets are custom to fit around the stove. I think it looks very industrial. They used concrete counters.

"Ginkgo House Architecture
Yes, it is one unit. It was found (with some effort) online and shipped to the project. It is in excellent working condition. It was made between 1929 and 1931. A hood vent is concealed above it in the cabinetry."
