Sheet of copper stove backsplash helps the organic part balance the stark euro-white. Thick, angled walls and potlight-studded dropped ceiling look a little, wonderfully starwarsian, especially as relieved by the lofty, beamed, vine-strewn atrium ceiling. I feel like Aunt Beru escaped the Stormtroopers after all and lives on in Denmark.
greenblack and white 4-evah.
beautiful woodwork, combined with white
Delicate geometric tiles
Why yes.
Kinda too much/little (straight machelor), but almost there.
wooden box for fridge. I also love the Japanese boy's day fish flag.
I like the tiles and how they cover the kitchen.
Beautiful large-format inlaid walnut cabinetry. SW hogan ceiling is lovely too.
The glossy gray subway tile is beautiful in this otherwise standard (if expensive) big white kitchen. It confers dignity to the cherry wood island and maple flooring. It's just the over-stove grillwork 'art' that uglifies it up. Coffered ceilings are quite nice as well.
I really like this triumvirate of tall french doors. Would be very nice across the back of the house.
Deep back metal-clad window behind kitchen could provide cozy sitting spot, light, and architectural feature.
room height, cabinets sandwiched between clerestory windows and backsplash windows.
high ceiling allows for dignified, airy service window next to wide doorway
rustic apron sink with black lower, stone middle, milk upper
black countertops with wood
Spend it all on Acacia wood floors, and a bit of stone subway tile on the splash, paint the rest white, and call it lovely.
kitchen door-wall to back yard (deck). love the forest mural.
Japanese-style wood framing around white walls and open overhead, slatted wooden wide doors, black countertops
an ideal kitchen
glass ball and brass lighting. Perfect craftsman mode.
kitchen island-to-dining room, great light, high wood ceiling, 3-pane exit.
window over apron sink onto porch. French open dish cabinet. brick floor.
beautiful, with the combo of brick floor, wood lower layer, geometric tile layer, white paint upper layer and dark ceiling (with matching bench); as well as cabinet moulding. Center lamp was a bad choice, almost ruins the room.
screened cabinets: woven copper grille. The homeowner-designer painted the range faux-zinc.
This is the sort of window set-up I would love in a kitchen. Ahhhh.
100 sq ft kitchen reconfigured, $55K. Uff. So many vacations. Should've just painted it white themselves, bought a new fridge for $2K, and traveled around the world.
I like the high range, brass lamps, geometric tile floor, b/w and wood combo, big arched doorway.
Diamond tiles: Solus Ceramics
apron front copper kitchen sink $775
ideal back of house: row of window-walls.
wall of wood-trimmed glass window doors
sunroom end to kitchen
This homeowner just added a wall of windows to make the kitchen feel bigger.
The chinoiserie is a nice compliment--Consider on top of the cabinets w/copper. Nice overhead lamp. Spray paint our cheapie's chrome with copper. The gray & red, and the sconces are fugly. It's from DC.
Ceiling beams have moulding. Notice also drawer pulls, color, seated bay window.
milk white kitchen (Benjamin Moore 925) with deep red wood and custom sea green tile accent.
