Hi Karen, I love the idea of maybe putting shelves in front of the window, it might require us to replace the windows, to be able to open differently. I like the modern wood countertop. Shelves sleek and modern. The lower cabinetry should be white I thin. I like the wood counter picking up the wood from the study. I'm totally open!
