The Pantry behind

Q

Photo

Favorite small space!

The beams on the ceiling are very trendy right now. And I don't see the trend of adding texture to ceilings end any time soon. I think the island's base should also be dark. And as much as possible keep your wood floors light. Light wood doesn't show you everytime the dogs skids across the floor.

Q

Why didn't I think of that? The end of stacks of paper! Every area is used very productivley!

Q

I want that door! I don't want all of thos dishes, though. However, by only using one door that slides fron side to side, this cabinet would do well for cook books, some decorative large serving pieces, and the like.

After looking at other pictures, I am more convinced with changing things up with color and texture. I love it when an innovative idea is included, in a very useful, yet subtle way. A complete monochromatic space, no matter what the room is, will look instantly dirty, if one dirty dish is on the counter. When you change the feel of the room with color and texture, the kitchen appears to be one that is supposed to be used. Notes to each other on a chalkboard that is attached to a pocket door for the pantry, tells us people live here!

This is a perfect example of mixing all types of material, and ending up with a masterpiece!

I love mixing wood. And Colors. Texture is going to be a main focus. If you don't know if you are mixing the right, woods, colors or textures, ask a professional. You could end up with a disaster.

Same designer, same feel.
