They are a 1 watt LED deck light in copper, but you can get them in 316 grade stainless steel.
They require a driver to run the lights and any qualified electrician can install them.

We usually use redwood or Ipe' wood. Redwood is softer but will hold a stain longer. Ipe' is more scratch resistant but it is hard to get a sealer to penetrate, so people often have to stain every year.
