Yes the Taj as a full backsplash would look great, but as mentioned, finding a matching slab to what you have might end up being an even harder challenge then choosing a new tile. I would keep it all the same, with no behind the range feature. Once you put pretty stuff on the counters, I think you will be glad it is all one color. There are so maybe people on this site who have installed Taj Mahal and you can look up what tile they chose and then see if they would work in your kitchen. No need to hire another designer. There are many tile experts here who can give you plenty suggestions for tile samples to bring home. Let us all help you find the perfect tile! Eta: Did you see the thread just below this one on picking tile for TM? I hope they don’t mind me adding their gorgeous backsplash here, but I think this tile would look very nice in your kitchen too. Bedrosians Makoto tile.
