This is very close to the layout I am lookingfor, but probably with an upper cupboard at each end of the hanging rod. I would love to put in a stone counter top, as we have granite on everyother counter top in the house. Do not like the black cabinets - probablywould do white. Do not need high-end cabinets in here.
Like the white cabinets. Love the hanging rod. Our washer and dryer are this silver/brushed nickel color.
Like the idea (if it's not a big cost) of usingvertical (not horizontal as shown here) bead board from counter top up tocabinets. We have some of this in our mudroom. Also like theopening between the cabinets with the archway and shelf - would just need ahanding rod as well
or subway tile, which we also have in ourkitchen
