Workout

The other idea of where to make a workout space would be Melissa's office. That room will have the benefit of lofted ceilings (so she can jump rope), so if the room can have enough space for her to put down a yoga mat/jump rope, the room can double as her office and her workout space.... Melissa just really likes the "feel" to this room here and could imagine a room like this being part office and part workout/yoga space...

Nice feel to the room; good use of mirrors and lighting

Again, nice use of mirrors and lighting to make a small space feel bigger/light... but the light here looks too good to be true without windows with significant natural lighting - maybe there are windows on the side of the room not pictured?

We were thinking of maybe a media space in the basement/ground floor beneath the kitchen too... Maybe side by side with the workout area like in this picture... but set up so that the screen could be viewed from the workout area.

Mirrors and lighting to make space feel inviting/spacious/light despite not having windows... We are thinking of turning the basement/ground level that is under the kitchen into workout space. One thing that would be nice would be to have a section that has high enough ceilings to allow for jump roping.
