I like the look of these faux beams in the ceiling.

I like how the soffit is painted to match the trim, making the entire thing look like one giant crown molding rather than a simple coffered ceiling.

I like the lighting setup: a large, central light combined with aimable spots along the walls for either accenting art or just pointing straight down. The spots could be in the soffit, with the central light under a fan up in the coffered ceiling.
