Not wild about rain shower heads, but I love the colors & textures used in this shower. The skylight would be fun. There are other photos of this shower associated with this house on Houzz.

I like these matching alcoves in the shower.

How to Lay Out a 100-Square-Foot Bathroom

Q

Lots of interesting layout ideas

Q

Photo

I like the color scheme in this bathroom--especially the subway tile in the shower.

Q

Photo

I don't care for the colors per se, but I like the idea of the shower floor & wall being an accent color.

Your Guide to Shower Floor Materials

Q

If we create a shower instead of a tub, it sounds like porcelain is the way to go on the floor.

Q

Photo

I like the texture of the smooth-troweled plaster walls in this shower.

Q

Photo

The curved front with frosted side windows is a great touch for an antique-looking room.

Q

This slab of Onyx makes an amazing shower wall.

That's quite a shower view in this oceanside Maine farmhouse. I love all the natural light... but locating it right next to a patio? A large glass window overlooking the ocean fills one wall of the shower in the master bathroom. Plantings outside will grow to partially screen the shower. The shower floor is slate tile. Local Maine granite covers the rest of the bathroom floor.

Traditional Kitchen Sinks

Q

This gives a freestanding sink with a decent amount of counter space. "Out of the Box" had something similar.

Love the windows & views around the corner-mounted tub. We want a fixed tub, not a claw-foot.

I like the style of these windows surrounding the tub

Wainscot design & wall color

Shower skylight

Q

Photo

I like the feel of the space--the woodwork, the large window, the wainscot, etc.

Q

Photo

I like the woodwork, the wainscot, the floor tile, the four corner openable windows surrounding the tub.

Q

Photo

I like the design & style of that freestanding cabinet in the bathroom.

Q

Photo

I like the woodwork here. For flooring: what about an outer ring of 2-3 subway tiles, then a narrow ring of color/pattern, then an inner fill of white 1" hex tiles?

Q

Photo

I like this tile pattern ringing the bathroom floor. I'd prefer to have the primary floor color white, though. Maybe 1" hex tiles in the middle and squares on the outside ring? The tile accent color should match the upper wall color. Nice wainscot & window/door headers, too.

Q

Photo

The accent tile on the wall tile would also be good around the edge of the floor -- probably in a color that matched the upper wall. Would those floor patterns be anything, in a different color?

Double head shower w/ seat

Q

Photo

Nothing about this shower fits our house, but I still think it's really cool.

Q

Photo

I like this color scheme, especially combined with the medium-tinted floors.

Q

Photo

I like the idea of a small window seat in the bathroom to sit on while getting ready. I also like the lower shutters on the window to preserve privacy without blocking air flow.
