We are moving forward with replacing all of the siding on our tudor due to rot and failure. The roof is the only item that must remain. We will be using James hardie for less maintenance. We do not wish to paint or stain the bricks. Windows will be replaced.

Should we cover the pink brick and stone with new stone veneer And use hardie on top? Our contractor is recommending this option.

keep the brick and stone and hope the new hardie up top doesn’t make the house look old on the bottom and new on the top?

add real stucco to the top and Attempt to blend old and new?

tear off the brick and just use all hardie?

add a porch Or portico?

paint colors For siding and trim? It feels really dark right now - especially on the back and sides. Lots of dark brown.

So many options. My head hurts from overthinking this.
