I love the color of these cabinets. I want a deeper color (like this one) on my lower cabinets when we repaint, and keep the upper cabinets white. I also plan to change the hardware.

This looks exactly like the chair I have in the living room. For a wooden chair with no upholstery it is surprisingly comfortable.

I like the pull-out trash drawer large enough for 2 full-size waste baskets, and I like that is right by the sink and prep areas. I have a pull-out, but it only holds one, and I would love to have something for my recyclables too. Any house in the future will have this pull-out!

I really like the carrera marble subway tiles with the white uppers/blue lowers. Makes the color transition practically seamless. I prefer my steel gray marble counters though.

This is what I wish I'd chosen to do in our newly renovated kitchen. I have the pale blue walls, and the white uppers - but I only painted the island and the built-in china hutch blue. I wish I'd painted all the lowers blue. Next time...

We're putting beadboard on the kitchen ceiling, installing white wooden blinds, and painting all the trim white too. This is a good idea, using different shades of white for these things.
