That was the case in this basement bathroom, where designer Wendy Combs wanted to ground the room with a traditional feel. The contractor from Red Rooster Remodeling told her he could give her the same look with a new, better-functioning piece. She drew an elevation that they used for inspiration, but she notes that the piece was a great collaboration. “We had some back and forth and they did some truly artistic work on their end while carrying forth my vision,” Combs says.
