Pantry
I like this cabinet; but would put it in my pantry, rather than my kitchen. In any case, I wouldn't put it in a corner where items close to the wall would be hard to reach. One more thing; I'm not sure I like losing counter space with a cabinet like this. I'd think that counter space is too valuable a commodity to give up in a busy kitchen.
My pantry/pre room is a separate room between the mud/laundry room and the kitchen. It works really well for me.

This shelving is also a good idea for the pantry/mud room. I like the idea of having an exterior door with translucent glass in it, too.
