Warm wood but also white cabinets in the kitchen--yay!
Love this vent hood. It looks like a mantel. I looked at a ton of vent hoods today and I do NOT like the stainless rounded over ones. Not sure I like the rhombus shaped ones wither. Definitely like the more squared off shelf-like ones. Not too oversized either. Just over the stove is fine, I think...
This was done with Ikea cabinets, that's crazy...
I put this in because I DON'T like it. Even though I love a white kitchen. So I don't like that all cabinets and island are white. I don't like that the marble looks like a bathroom all over. And I don't like the shape of the island or it's huge size. I see this type of kitchen a lot and I'd like ours to be different...
Love the shelf above the vent hood. I also like the white stove look, although I don't know about that. Of course the blue and white caught my eye...

I wonder if I could ever have glass cabinets? I probably could not keep my mis-matched china that pretty and organized looking.
This is my ultimate kitchen! Love the white cabinets and the warmth of the wood in the island. Love the vent hood and I really love the double lantern! I also like the hardwood floors in the kitchen. The window over the sink is really pretty too.
I think this is the stove I love, but I liked it in blue. Isn't the brass finish pretty! (but does it match anything?)

Another wooden island that is only for food prep. No island-bar. No eating at the island... This is what I want. Maybe more European look?? Not sure...
