Everything looks gray!

Cool grays do not work well with warm wood tones. Neither does anything for the other and the effect can be blah. The grays were formulated to work with the popular white cabinets and trim. Colors that work well with warm toned woods are cream, soft creamy beige, blues and greens. The blues and greens can have gray undertones. Here is an article on "grays" to use with wood trim. The 'grays" are really mostly blues and greens. I like the first three and the last kitchen, but don't much like the grayer ones in the middle. I find them all a bit dark, but I like a light feeling home and others prefer darker. http://housekaboodle.com/gray-paint-colors-with-wood-trim/

The oak trim goes with your floors so I'd leave them. They add a lot of warmth to a home. Greens and blues look wonderful with medium tone wood, especially the more muted grayish shades.
