An easy way to get these recipes or most anything behind a firewall - If you copy the url, then go to archive.is and paste it in the top search bar, it will come up. You won't get the user comments, but will get the recipe/article.

I would NOT pay for a subscription. Just do the freeze for free. If you want to check your credit reports, there are plenty of ways to do it w/ no cost. You can do it here: https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action (Normally, you get one free one from each bureau per year, but right now it is one per week). And Credit Karma also provides copies of your reports. If you want to, you can pull your report periodically over the next few weeks to make sure all is well. But if you do the freeze, that's not really necessary since no one can open credit in your name.

More photos! Bathroom, laundry area. GC built the window seat and shelving, in addition to new cabinets in the laundry with soapstone countertops. The kitchen and laundry light fixtures are DeVol, kitchen faucet and bathroom fixtures are Perrin and Rowe. Bathroom tile is Sonoma Tilemakers.

Yay, I signed into Houzz and saw all these sweet comments! You all made me so happy this morning, I haven’t even looked at the news. My kitchen was just finished in January, and I’m extremely happy with the results. The cabinets and hood were custom, painted F&B Blue Gray, walls and hood are Schoolhouse White. The countertop is marble, Calacatta Venato Bianco. The vinyl rug is Spicher and Company, and I did get it from Hudson and Vine, although there are other online purveyors. They have an endless variety of designs. It is a perfect kitchen rug, lies flat, wipes clean. I have another in my laundry area that I’ve had for about 15 years. The story of the Wedgewood stove: pre-renovation, I did have another Wedgewood that came with the house, and had planned on keeping it, but as time went on I really it wasn’t as nice a version as many, and started looking for another. Luckily in the Bay Area there are several places that specialize in refurbishing old stoves, and I started looking around. One place I called was closing their showroom in Berkeley and offered me one for about double what I was comfortable paying, and I regretfully declined and went on looking. A month later he called me back and offered it for my “comfortable“ price- he needed to move it! He told me it had been purchased by a gazillionaire Silicon Valley CEO who had ghosted him after ordering it. Isn’t it perfect in the space- and it’s almost exactly like my mother’s stove in the Berkeley house where I grew up. The kitchen table is from Normandy, a find from the Alameda Flea market. Thanks for encouraging me to share it! I had a wonderful GC who helped me pull the ideas together and had all the practical knowledge. I chose all the design features and finishes. I consulted with an interior designer, Megan Warren, to bouncy ideas off of, and who I found on this site, and I got a lot of inspiration here on Houzz! In addition to the kitchen, we built an ADU in the previously unfinished basement (where my DD is now living) and renovated the main bathroom, laundry area and the plus room off the kitchen. The project took a bit over a year to complete. Whew!!

@njmomma thank you! Its karndean, putting a pic in case I butchered spelling. We had Saltillo tile in horrible shape so I did not want real tile lol. It was so porous and wasn’t taken care of. Had huge grout lines that were backbreaking to keep clean so I wanted fake grout lol.

I've been taking SR Collagen for about 9 or 10 months I think - maybe a bit longer. I started because a friend told me it helped with her arthritis. At the time I started I had some recurring hip pain that would wake me multiple times during the night but unlikely that was arthritis. I also went back to my chiro at around the same time for a few visits and that seemed to help but did not eliminate the pain. I noticed a few days ago that I have not had that night time hip pain for quite a while - funny how you know right away when something hurts but it takes a while to notice it's gone! Anyway, is it the collagen? No clue. I do know that my nails grow like crazy, as does my hair which was always thick and grew fast but now I have lots of new baby hairs growing and they are impossible to control! My nails grow in length but are still thin, ridged and fragile so no help there. My skin has not improved at all that I can tell - the last 2 years have taken a toll there. The last time I was at Costco I bought the Vital Protein brand on sale but haven't opened that yet.
