Don't do a painted slab door...it will show wear and tear about the worst! Do a laminate, TFL, acrylic or wood veneer (stained).
Eclipse is great...use them all the time. TFL is the least expensive finish on their frameless.
Acrylic and laminate can look alike (for instance solid white)....but acrylic has more depth to the finish and is prettier. Laminate is more durable.
