Need some advice - we have had an extension built at the back of our large Victorian semi ..problem is we aren’t happy with the end result at the back with the doors facing the garden . There is a large wall which blocks the view of the garden from the kitchen island . Then the utility room is next to this which makes just doesn’t look right ! I hope I make sense !!

Our options are :

To replace the steel holding up the 3 sliders with a much larger steel .. knock the walls down where the utility is and then replace with larger doors to get the full view of the garden . This would mean no utility room .. this would
Be expensive but the architect says not much more expensive than option 2
To put a smaller steel from the other side to meet the glass doors , knock down the wall and then have a metal pole holding up the steel - then make a glass bay floor to ceiling from that point to the party wall .. and have a cupboard for the utility at the end.
Simplest and cheapest - raise the catnip of the utility room and replace the letter box window
With a larger piece of glass and a larger roof light …
We could shorten the utility room
But then don’t know how it would look with the roof of the house adjoinging ..

Any advice would be so much appreciated !!
