I painted our previous house with Elmira White. I don't remember the trim color, but it was bright white. This is from the listing photos. We had a lot of trees, and that big window faced southwest, but I'm not sure what time of day this picture was taken. Early afternoon, I think.

The soft blue might be an alternative for us to the grays we always lean toward. In general I like the colors in this room. Not sure about the wood coffee table. I feel like glass or somethin else might look better. But again mainly it's made me realize that a subtle blue tone is a possiblity for us as a color.

I like the visual interest here - the different colors and textures - even though overall it's not not exactly what I would like. But it's interesting and layered

There is a lot of things I don't like like the chairs the brick look the dark brown of the cabinets - but overall the color scheme I kind of like.

I kind of like this - I like the touch of gold in the lighting...the white of the countertop...don't like the handles they stand out too much...but the color scheme works. This is why I think the dark cabinets could look OK.

Even though it's a lot of wood it still feels sophisticated and somewhat bright airy...doesn't feel too dark

Even thought the cabinets are very dark it still feels airy...the gray backsplash seems to tone down the brown...

This combination of colors in general look nice...love the muted yellow...seems like the perfect addition of cheery brightness...maybe this is the secret right there...touches of muted subdued creamy yellos
