Gourmet Stool

Q

Would these work in leather?

Q

Product

Comfort Pointe Carteret Navy Leather Counter Stool

Q

Color, style, height, leather. Both of us like them.

Q

Nice color combo.

Where can you purchase the bar stools?

Q

Barstools.

Q

Product

School House Barstool, Black Finish With 30" Seat Height, Set of 2

Q

Back support.

Q

Photo

Leather and wood chairs.

Q

Photo
Photo

Both of us think this would be fine for both kitchen and island. But I think you want different.

Q

Photo

Like gray/green and wood. Sleek hood.

Q

Photo

Lighter version of what could be granite/wood combo possibly using a gray on beams.

Q

Photo

Granite and wood with pleasing color combo.

Q

Photo

Explore whether we have space for something like this for All-Clad.

Q

Photo

Interesting bar area is a magnet when company comes over, which keeps working kitchen area free.

Q

Photo

Great use of space.

Q

Photo

Love this. Practical.

Q

Photo

Nice, clean look! Love Mardis Camp, too!

Q

Photo

Same layout.

Q

Photo
Photo

Probably not enough room for bar area anywhere, but I like these fridges like our wine refrigerator.

Q

Photo

Same floor plan.

Q

Photo

Same layout. Use cupboards in place of open shelves, but have one small open shelf for oil, vinegar, salt, pepper.

Q

Photo

Four thoughts: 1- Have open cupboard to side of stove for oil, vinegar, salt, pepper. 2- Have glass door cupboard for spice to ID quicker. 3- Use wood-colored backs on chairs for counter to repeat as wood (and keep kitchen lighter). 4- OK to use skinny shaker.

Q

Photo

Wood island would be ok if white all around (to bring in wood from dining room), but it would need to be varnished so we could cut on it.

Q

Photo

This is an interesting concept of a short row of open shelves for coffee beans, two coffee cups, a wine glass, two dinner plates, two salad plates, two soup bowls. Not sure if Dad would like it, but it's an idea.

Q

Photo

SRW wants spice cupboard up higher so that he can read names of spices without bending down, but I think it's important to use a space like this for something we think of if space is leftover or if layout suggests a space like this -- maybe six wine glasses on the top shelf and other items less used -- even some liquor (we have a lot).

Q

Photo

These are pull-out drawers within cabinets that I prefer for mixing bowls, colander, orange juicer, and other small appliances. .

Q

Photo

I probably prefer two-level cupboards with pull-out drawers, but I'm not sure.

Q

Photo
Photo

We will use knife block, but we need drawer like this for two sets of silverware. Take photo of our existing one. I'd like one exactly like it. It's two levels, top level a pull-out shelf; utensils fit under back of the the top level because lower level has extra space. I guess this is a question of how deep the kitchen counter is by the sink.

Q

Photo

This is an example of an appliance garage that I had in mind, but counter must be deeper so that it can be pulled out on a rolling shelf (hopefully) and used in place.

Q

Photo

Pull-out spice/utility cupboard is optimal, but need counters on either side and/or proximity to island.,

Q

Photo

Ooooh, wow! Would I ever love to have a cave!

Q

Photo

Idea for cookbooks not practical. Can't see titles when down so low; also dust is a negative factor. Trash compactor, yes; and other cupboards.

Q

Photo

This is the hidden counter-reach that we like for Kitchen Aid, toaster, etc., but it would need to be deeper and would need more support than just a flimsy drawer; it would maybe require a granite base that has feet under it to steady it.

Q

Photo

Maybe rethink kitchen dish organization. This would eliminate lifting plates overhead.

Q

Photo

We have white back-splash in France, and it cleans up well.

Q

Photo

Nice detail.

Q

Photo

Want this type of drawer but with pullout second layer and larger, with enough space for two sets of silverware. Then two other full sized drawers for utensils.

Q

Photo

Similar layout but stove would be on wall behind photographer in our layout and no windows in dining area.

Q

Photo

Nice layout. I like this a lot.

Q

Photo

Consider this type of casual eating area for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for two in view of TV.

Q

Photo

Counter might be more practical on both sides of refrigerator/freezer. Side-by-side refrigerator/freezer probably desired.

Q

Photo

White/stainless with gray/taupe granite or other stone would be good to tie in with wood on hood or wood under island.

Q

Photo

Would like instant hot water.

Q

Photo

We have similar Grohe faucet in Leimert kitchen and we like it. Also have and like sink/granite counter installation. Leimert sink is by Franke and we like it. It is sturdy and cleans up very well. Insinkerator Pro disposal has worked well, too.

Q

Photo

Love this but with gray granite like on Leimert.

Q

Photo

Too dark for my taste.

Q

Photo

This should be maximum amount of wood. Less might be more desirable.

Q

Photo

Limited wood color keeps room light. Layout is similar.

Q

Photo

Good idea. Minimal wood, but still considering quartz floor!!! Probably just dreaming.

Q

Photo

Like upper drawer, but would like cupboard that fits cookie sheets, trays, cake pans, etc. Sideways. Vertically.

Q

Photo

Wrapping paper dispensers.

Q

Photo

This is a nice look. Not sure how anything like this could possibly be incorporated, but it's a pleasing look. Only could be possible if island were made of verathaned wood with sink on one side. Sink side would be all stainless steel and granite; island side would be verathaned wood and/or granite.

Q

Photo

We could go out on a limb. Great to maintain. Modern. Nice clean look.

Q

Photo

We can build island of natural wood and granite; then have cupboards painted. That would keep area light but still help transition to dining/great room.

Q

Photo

Similar layout. No glass on cupboards. Dad prefers natural wood cabinets, but he doesn't care that much.

Q

Photo

Double sink nice.

Q

Photo

Kitchen/dining room.

Q

Photo

natural wood/white cabinet mixture.

Q

Photo
Photo

Need these types of storage space. Take measurements and descriptions from Leimert kitchen.

Q

Photo

Like island/breakfast bar, hood, stove and oven setup.

Q

Photo

Nice window/door/wall treatment.

Q

Photo

Nice seating area.

Q

Photo

A light, bright kitchen, with focus on hardwood floors and stainless steel.

Q

Photo

Oooooh! Nice clean look!

Q

Photo

Nice combo of wood and non-wood cabinets.

Q

Photo

Such a clean look!

Q

Photo

Replace windowed cupboards with TV space for kitchen.

Q

Photo

Too formal, but very nice.

Q

Photo

This is general outline of space from kitchen to great room.

Q

Photo

Practical.

Q

Photo

Nice.

Q

Photo

Maybe

Q

Photo
Photo

Example of no windows and lots of storage and woodwork. Cupboards at my height might be easier.

Q

Photo

Nice stove; good hot water.

Q

Photo

Gray granite and white paint.

Q

Photo

I like this, except use gray granite instead of yellow.
