I don't enjoy the scifi lighting, but I've come around to these integrated kitchen units. They're flexible and they are super easy to clean compared to kitchen cabinets.

Now how cool is that. I'm not a fan of spiral staircases, but if you have a basement cellar you can access. it makes a lot of sense to have visibility into it even if you don't have access.

Q

Different angle. Love the fridge placement

Q

VERY interesting placement of the oven. I hadn't considered something like that but it makes a lot of sense if you're moving about an open place or immediately visible kitchen. Bit concerned about how smoke would travel if I burned anything though

Q

This is neat cleaner storage. But I absolutely hate the fact that we store such dangerous equipment at child height. Won't be doing this if I can help it

Q

Don't love this. So easy to miss the bin and end up with crap all over the place. Much prefer a sealed hole in the counter top.

Q

WOODEN COUNTERTOP! Finally. there must be a reason these are so rare. I like the stove and the open shelves. Not mad on the lack of storage under breakfast bar but maybe its just hidden

Q

This is an awesome kitchen layout. Would prefer wooden counterrtop island but its still awesome. The spacing between the stove/sink/serving around gives a nice flow for me to work in. As much as I've love an induction hob built into the island. Using it exclusively for prep looks like it could really work in this situation Love The layout. Don't love the overall style, the lights (hanging or ceiling) or the chairs

Q

Love the idea of cooking on an island but cleaning against the wall. Extractor is tall enough for me not to smack my head. Prefer overhead quiet extractors to built in noisy ones. Love the Inegrated unit of overs in the corner. Love the brickwork. Drools Love the counter top coming over into a breakfast bar. Like that theres not excessive amount of overhead cabinets

Q

Photo

The extractor above the island. makes sense. the fire oven in the back not so much

Good example of well lit and contrased kitchen. Might fit with the rest of the house a bit too well though. Hydrophonics are the future and any way to incorporate them into the kitchen would be amazing. Although on second glance, it might be the red brick swaying me...

Q

The best kitchens are those that have fluid systems to them. Cooking, Serving, Fetching ingredients should all work seamlessly. Galley kitchens seem to do this most effectively without feeling cramped

Q

Photo

I've never seen someone pull of a rustic kitchen so effectively but this is perfect. The double wide fridge doesn't impose, and the open shelving doesn't look cluttered. Easy clean too!

Q

Photo

I am noticing a pattern with the T shaped kitchens. This type of wood and open glass cabinets in beautiful and would nearly sway me away from just having a larder/shelves

Q

Photo

Almost perfect. Would swap the sink and cooker. Still not sure if cookers work better with a splashguard or open island No danger of clutter, easy to clean, breakfast bar adjacent. Wooden countertops for an island are a must

Q

Photo

This is an example of a bad kitchen design IMO. The clutter on the countertops makes it hard to clean and the tight space makes it difficult for the cook to turn or anyone to get in behind him

Q

Photo

I forsee a double wide fridge in my future. This is the only time I've ever seen them integrated in a way that makes sense and doesn't impact the rest of the room or stand out.

Q

Photo

One thing I love about this island as opposed to others is the compartment storage on the far end. Having your tools in easy access of your cooking is always handy

Q

Photo

Another example of a fantastic island use case with cooking/serving and prepping at once

Q

Photo

I love cooking, I love eating. Being able to prepare, cook and serve on an induction hob in such a small space would be dreamy. Not having to worry about tight spaces or someone walking behind me or bumping into me is a well scored bonus

Q

Photo

Perfect example of a future flexible kitchen island. Although I wish it had clearer storage options
