I like this dark grayish color on bookcases with gold hardware but it’s never my favorite room that I see them in in pictures??♀️..... might make basement look too dark?? Should we do wood shiplap, white shiplap or stone between book cases where tv will go? Alisa, my thought was to paint the wood a greenish gray color (SW 7622), use wood as all of the horizontal planks (shelves and countertops), and white shiplap on the walls. I am envisioning drywall painted walls in the bathroom, maybe the same darker green color, and a white/ivory shower tile with the teak ceiling and LVT on the floors. Jackie, you want all walls in the basement to be shiplap?

I would like to do this to the pole in the basement and shiplap over on the wall we are opening coming down the steps. I also like the ceiling since we have some boxes in duct work.
