kitchen
I like how windows open and have inserts. I'm not sure it will go with a spanish creamy kitchen. Goal is to have bar stools and bar on other side of windows - i know accordian windows would be better but don't like the modern look. Wonder if I could get the windows to be accordion but in three different cases...so it's not all one long window look.
What if we put an accordian wall behind kitchen/Great Room? If opened on the kitchen side there would be a bar/seating to look inside kitchen and pass out food to outside patio. Would mean we sacrifice uppers over sink/counter area. When closed it would look like a window to the outside...if pretty view than worth it maybe? If we go this direction Marnie would like the doors to be framed so it would look like a picture window when closed...Like over sink to give light inside/outside.
Remember the need for a buffet! Consider adding something like this so when looking into kitchen from dining room guests don't see the mess in kitchen and there is a clear space to put out food for a buffet - could work for dining room and for table...
Hidden door into pantry - put in galley stove? Or does Pat need more counter space on sides?
Looks like this will work.
