Master Bath
Don’t forget we need to have lighting in there. We once had a bathroom remodel start with just wall lighting and it was hard to see makeup and such to get ready in the morning. We can do overhead lighting above the bath or anywhere there is no skylight snd we also need to reinstall an eight inch round speaker which I presume will go over the bath
I like the simplicity of the counter top and sinks and the large block of counter edging here. Wood is a little too pink but I like the light wood
Too much texture and dark wood color but I do like the floating cabinets. I also like storage, but think floating wins because the bathroom floor space isn’t that much so it will seem bigger?

We don’t like actually using the overhead rain shower but it does look cool

I like the niche as hidden as possible because I am a neat freak but do need the bath storage for two razors, shampoo conditioner + soap

This has nothing to do with the master I just like the pieces for my downstairs
I tremendously dislike these examples but we need sconces for reading on the wall rather than on end tables, which we need to be much smaller than they currently are
Maybe we separate the bedroom portion from the bath/closet/hall portion with a door that when closed makes the room a square
Curtain ideas- we need curtains to address the upper windows. Would like them to somehow be motorized
I like the light colors that have some depth. I worry about another gray-toned room because that vibe seems to be going out of style and my whole house is gray and white so hoping to mix it up a little in here while being super zen
Greg never lets me hang art over the bed for fear of an earthquake, maybe wallpaper or paneling like this?
Maybe we hide the curtain rods behind wood trim? We have to deal with the ceiling by either drywall or something to hide the wooden planks (I don’t mind the crisscrossing beams so much but the wood panel ceiling is not my favorite). We also need to figure out lighting bc the only light will be from a ceiling fan- not sure we need a ceiling fan
We need a lot of drawers in the closet because we don’t use a dresser in the bedroom
I like layers of curtains and blinds in windows, and due to privacy issues need to remember to get top up/bottom down blinds this time. Then we can still open the lower window shades without the neighbor walking by to go to his backyard and seeing onto our bed
Window seat in the bedroom? Greg loves the sofa currently in the bedroom but I fear a sofa may be bulky. Maybe a window seat with storage for our blankets so we can stop using the grandma trunk ?
Greg is worried he is giving up the view of the side yard for privacy. What about bringing in actual planting to the atrium like this?
