Kitchen remodel

I like the style of this subway tile and that it has a little something of interest going around the base of it. The subway look seems more elegant.

Don’t like. Justin does not like this type of subway look. Gives him the feeling of sterile.

We kind of like the idea of a darker subway if the color and style of style is right. Justin is against brown.

This was actually one of my inspiration pictures for the kitchen, but after living with the shiny backsplash all weekend we’ve decided we don’t want a really shiny back splash. Feels like a bathroom. I see how I went wrong in my color selection for the tile. Honestly, this isn’t my favorite look, but I could live with something like this (less shiny) if It’s what works. Reason for saving is that the countertopsTaj Mahal.
