i know this looks nuts. but what if his "gold" was done with decal/temporary wallpaper in a design kind of like this? just wondering if there is a way to bring in gold in a cool way but for it to be removable.... gold is nice with gray. white/gold/gray with pops of color throughout. could paint walls gray or white and cover with gold designs.....
