Leanne's kitchen ideas
Question of whether to go for a fully built-in fridge with a wood panel cover versus stainless steel counter depth fridge??? This does look nice. Not sure if it would be recommended in my small kitchen -- would it make the look too heavy in wood or would it be nice to avoid the big stainless steel fridge look in that space.
Takeaways Lighten up a dark kitchen with glass cabinet doors. For a seamless look, extend a countertop material up the walls as a backsplash. Think about what you need handy while cooking and plan storage around the range accordingly. Make the most of corner cabinet space with Lazy Susans, half-moons or other cabinet pullouts. Talk to your designer about how to make a kitchen floor softer for your feet and legs. Consider including a well-placed beverage area when planning your kitchen renovation.
Cabinets
Interesting dark wood with metallic back-splash.
Interesting cabinet color.
I think this is also a single sink with a dish-drying space to the right of it.
Would it be bad to have a single sink in the kitchen?
Interesting to have a single sink but with a built-in dish drying space - could the sink in my new kitchen line up against the edge of the wall by my bedroom door and the drying space be to the right of the sink so it could be in the corner of the counter there?
Here is a decent size corner sink as an option for my kitchen reno.
Interesting raised counter. Not sure if that would be feasible in my kitchen space. Also, the cabinet color and style are nice.
Interesting pull-out shelving for the corner cabinet. Can this be done in my kitchen?
I like the color and style of the cabinets and the fridge.
Just thinking about the master BR now -- maybe I can dress it up with a fancy tub and not a standard tub!
I do like the clean look of these cabinets - similar to my current ones but the raised border around the doors is thicker than mine. I like it.
Interesting corner cabinet.
Sort of like this cabinetry and counter top, as well as the built-in fridge and microwave and oven.
Example of a microwave above the stove/oven.
I like the handles on the drawers here.
Nice, clean cabinet style, though I'm not into the light colors.
I believe this is similar to the other photo I flagged with the fridge and microwave and oven beside each other.
Example of built-in fridge adjacent to microwave and oven.
Sort of interesting cabinets though I do not like the counter top or counter design.
Nice organization within these drawers.
More efficient space options for storage.
I'm wondering if there is a solution for some of my larger kitchen appliances instead of sitting exposed on the counter top.
I need space-saving efficient storage options for every space in my reno'd kitchen.
This is like my thoughts for a dark countertop.
