@Mary Elizabeth :). Some people have been following me for a while and understand how to organize and compare color by hue family, value, chroma and LRV. While others have never heard of looking at, and thinking about, color this way. I'm trying to cover both bases by first answering simply and directly and then following up with some more detail. Hopefully saving those interested the trouble of direct messaging me to ask deeper color questions about how I use hue family, value, chroma and LRV to analyze and compare paint colors. A free download of a blank color wheel is available here for anyone who wants to play along.
