WALNUT - ARNOLD-LOUIE
This might be an office layout that more closely matches ours, with a window above the screens.
Rob likes the idea of a corner desk for separate work / play spaces that are a chair rotation away. Ignore the sound insulation, curtains, track lighting, mic setup, etc...
Rob thinks this might be a way to squeeze in a desk under the stairs? Not sure about the height / door layout.
Rob likes the modular / granular storage here.
Similar idea to the kitchen, hiding the printer/scanner which is infrequently used. One challenge here would be routing power/internet to it.
One idea for the office layout - both users facing the same wall. Storage above / below would hold cables/pens/stamps/etc... Not sure about dividing up the room for sound purposes.
Rob likes the drawers for shoes and the general order of storage (shoes -> foldables -> hangables). Not sure about the closed drawer for the foldables vs something more like the shoes or an open cabinet.
Rob likes the pull-out hamper drawer for the Master Closet
Kara likes the idea of separating the office into two offices with bookshelves or something
Something like this (not a swing bench) would be lovely on the front porch. -Kara
Kara would love the downstairs family area to be bright and fun, like this, but also with the ability to watch a movie in this area. Rob like the pillow colors coordinated with the wall, on the neutral couch.
Or something like this in the bay window on Walnut
Kara loves that nook
Kara loves the chairs for the front room
This evokes the feeling Kara is looking for from the front room, comfy, bright and airy, with inspiration around
This feels dark and plush
This is also a fun wallpaper for a kids room
This room, but with a more jewel toned color for a bedroom is nice. Rob likes the tan/green color combination here.
We've talked at length about having enough space to hang towels to dry all the way. If there is unused wall space in the bathrooms. This might be a good way to resolve since it allows for multiple types of things to hand on it
This is a good way to add a pop of color and design to a room! -Kara
This is nice also, but Kara prefers silver accents to gold.
Kara likes the neutral simplicity in this powder room. Also, she believes that the counter by the sink should be big enough to hold a large book, or toiletry case.
Kara thinks the color scheme here is nice
Kara loves ingenious storage ideas!
Kara likes the brightness of the island
Yay organized container storage
Evokes the same kind of rich comfort Kara is looking for in the bedrooms (complete with simplicity)
Window seat
Window seat ideas
Kara doesn't remember why this is in here. Rob doesn't either. Maybe the flooring?
Not sure about the racking but the glass/framing looks nice.
This was meant to be a thought for the design of the wine racks themselves
Kara likes all the light fixtures except the large eye piece in the front. The combination of inset with simple dangles is nice with the amount of natural light.
Kara- The windows here feel like a nod to the old while still giving privacy
Rob likes this with the colored wall Kara thinks the trim works well in spaces that aren't bedrooms
Rob likes the dark wood against the darker island color here but it works against the white cabinets too
Rob likes the floor here
Or these types of tiles for the bathroom. Rob likes the hexagonal tiles in the shower unit.
Tiles for the bathroom. Busy patterns would hide some of my hair and it is nice to look at. Unsure if shape of tiles is easy to clean, though.
Maybe this kind of dark wooden floors would go well with our wall color scheme we talked about
Wood floors
Floor coloring and wood accent on the window bench
I don't think this is relevant anymore.
