Interesting that the oven is placed in the corner where we now have the lazy susan. I kind of like this location.

Keep the soffits, but use flat crown on the cabinets and cove or crown on the soffit.
What about moving the window seat to the other window wall
I like either warming drawers or a drawer for pots and pans.

Adding an island in the center of a larger island might be a way of compensating for the lack of wall space
Like that the cooktop is sunken since cooktop is on the island it adds separation.
