Hedges By looking at your lot it appears as if you have a negative slope towards the rear. I think it would work well with terrace style landscaping. Hedges can be cheap if small and allowed to mature over several years.

I do not know if there are restrictions in cobblestone but may be worth looking into to find out if we can put a pump in the lake behind your house for free irrigation water. if you use city water typical monthly water bill can reach 200.00

Fireplace this would be super easy to do, there are a lot of extra brick lots around columbia. Possibly houndstooth* or other design done in pavers. Easy job. Typical outdoor fireplace range from 4-7k if you want wood burning. Pit is almost free like Gus.
