Cabinets

Similar color combination to our half bath. Light cabinet with the countertop darker. I think this will blend the floor color with the wired countertop. It could be either contrast with the top with a white paint or become more monochrome with the cabinet color matching the counter.

All white, black windows wood floors and ceiling...

Q

Tans look warm and light, though the floor is light. We would have more contrasts with the floor, ceiling and the whiter countertop.

Painted desk with wood. Picks up floor, still integrated into the room as a whole..

Don’t like the dark red brown contrasting cabs but here is a look again of the contrasting floor and island.

Q

Photo

See how the light cabs in the kitchen work with the dark brown furniture in the dining room. The medium brown floor is the mediator between the two.

Q

Photo

The light is a greenish color, but the look of darker floor, light cabs, white counter and a warm neutral on the walls works. Shots of white, stainless grey and black on cab pulls is a nice comfortable mix that doesn’t go completely over designed.

Natural ash cabinets.

Natural ash cabinets.

Q

Ash cabinets, naturally. Don’t want the gray paint tho.

Q

Photo

Natural ash mixed with dark wood, much like our kitchen and ding room.

Q

Photo

Natural ash cabinets like ours!

Q

What the all wood kitchen might look like. Hmmmm...

Q

Photo

An all white kitchen with warm wood ceiling and floors. The paint is a creamy white though.

Q

Photo

This is nice for what it is, but I think stylistically, it is more modern than we want. This is rift sawn oak.

Q

Photo

Red birch with layers of shellac.

Q

Photo

If we were to have all wood cabinets and our white countertops. These r darker than the rift sawn oak, but it would be an elegant statement either tone.

Q

Photo

Is this too dark?

Q

Oak?

Q

Photo

This is a good medium brown wood. Where to put it? My bath vanity and perhaps as part of the kitchen. Or do we just want a light paint throughout the kitchen considering that we will be having a wood floor and ceiling. Will the end cabinet that faces the dining room work in paint with the dark wood of the walnut table (and for now, the black painted chairs)?

Wood cabinet color.

Wood of island with white cabinets.

Mybath cab color?

Q

Do we want cabs this light?

Q

Photo

Rustic look, not sure about the grain but like the color.

Q

Photo

Would Patsy like this color cab?

Q

Photo

Wood with warm tile, but it would look good with the white countertop too.

Q

Cabinet color.

Q

Photo

What is this wood? Or is it the finish or lack of it?

Q

Photo

Is this cherry?

Q

Photo

In a light bathroom, dark vanity-walnut?

Q

Photo

Love the wood. What is it?

Q

Photo

Too dressy?

Q

Photo

Is this too slick?

Q

Photo

My bath? With a darker neutral paint. Kinda sophisticated.

Q

Photo

Wood with white paint and white counters. Could be a little darker wood, but what if we did the island and the refrigerator wall in wood with the rest white cabinets?

Q

Photo

White with the dark wood in Kitchen?

Q

Photo

What about a dark wood island. Is this Oak?

Q

Photo

Cabinet color for a bathroom with a light counter?

Q

Photo

White cabinets (creamy white) warm tan counters and backsplash, door fronts with some glass, an open shelving space some place to break the flat plane of the upper cabinets. With our wood floor and ceiling, and perhaps a medium tone wood cabinet for the island, and the black window frames and touches of black in light fixtures and counter stools, this is a good example of what our kitchen would look like with the light cupboards. Check to see if the cupboard frames can be wider than the standard width of shaker style cabinets.

Q

Photo

Can the frames of the shaker style cabinets be wide like this?

Q

Photo

I wonder what this wood is for the cabinets. It might be a good match for our tile and backsplash.

Q

Photo

Wow! Clutter be gone and easy access. Do we have space for this around the stove?

Q

Photo

Light wood, black counters.

Q

Photo

Combo of wood, light from the windows, and white paint. Would this look good with much lighter counters.

Q

Photo

Same kitchen, different view. Note that the tile strip behind the hood is inset rather than overlaid. We might want a more tan tile rather than gray but this is a favorite kitchen for S.

Q

Photo

Painted creamy cabinets: simple, clean, elegant, refined. The whole kitchen is calm and warm. We aren’t sure about the tile color, or if we would want to extend it in a strip above the hood, but the texture is lovely. We also like the cabinet pulls and might even like the flat fronts. The advantage to a creamy white kitchen is that it is light.

Q

Light wood.

Another wood kitchen.

Wood color of cabinets with light counters.

Wood cabinets with stainless.

This is what natural finished oak looks like. We need to check it out by it will go well with the ceiling and it doesn’t yellow.
