Facade
We prefer French style (vs. Colonial). We found a home that is french provincial transitional with shutters, windows are white though not double hang (but wider than traditional french house). We prefer the window trimings in other pictures. But perhaps we can keep shutters to make sure we keep our current windows?
To work with our current windows (because we do not want to replace them), this house keeps the shutters (question is color and style, which may imply replacing them) and has a roof color similar to our house. Crowning covers roof which is very nice. We may or may not paint the drain tubes in a dark color to make it more transitional. The question is the chimney. We are removing the stones (which are pasted). So we would need to think through how to give it character while blending
This is Georgian. Would Georgian transitional work better?
