Reply to: Hi there! I think 43" might be a touch too high - I would probably place it at 36-38" above the sink height, measured from the bottom of the pendant to the top of the countertop. (See little sketch attached!) You can also try hanging something (garden hose? Etc.) to try and get a feel for the height that feels right, but 36" is pretty standard for kitchen work-surface lighting. Over the sink lighting tends to be at least that, plus an inch or two higher. Good luck, and let us know if you need further help! Cheers!
