Hi all, Just thought I'd add my two cents. I've been using Charlies off and on for the past few years. I had some problems at one time with my clothes getting a white coating on them and becoming rather stiff when using Charlies. After consulting with Taylor, he suggested adding TSP or TSPP to my wash along with the Charlies. I had to look up the water hardness for my area which turns out to be horrendously hard. One tablespoon of TSP or TSPP (not both) has made a considerable difference. I'm not getting the white film on dark clothes and my towels, jeans, etc. do feel much softer. Maybe it is a hard water issue. One thing to note, I had tried Calgon water softener and Washing Soda and Borax as water softeners before and they didn't really seem to be doing much better. The TSP/TSPP as well as a vinegar rinse really seem to help.
