If there's a sliding shelf that fits the narrow low cabinet by the fridge, we could put the spices there and use the top shelf of the food pantry cupboard for more food storage. There's wasted space in the narrow cupboard. The photo of the sliding shelf for spices in this article will remind me of this idea.
