The white is lovely, but so are your cupboards. What do you think about painting the walls white, adding a high gloss white subway tile, painting your red chairs to white. Add large white bowls in the open shelving and remove a lot of the items on the counter to make it feel more streamline. Add new shiny hardward on the cupboards and all this may make it feel lighter and be a good compromise.
