These colors may be what we're looking for (floor, island, counters, back-splash, lights). Though I prefer more rounded cabinet handles. -- if the counters and cabinets are all basically white and a pale blue for the island, I'd really prefer a more punchy backsplash - something like a blue/white Mediterranean tile pattern. It wouldn't be as dramatic as here because we'll have cabinets above the counters - no open wall going all the way up to the ceiling

As I see more pictures of the white/gray kitchen, I'm starting to like the light blue island more and more. Also, these hanging lights feel a little too "heavy" for the room. I think I prefer the other rounder hanging lights.

These bar chairs are not my style, but maybe it's good to have round backs, to support the kids. - I think plain back is better. easier to get into from the side. also - let's keep the eating area at counter height rather than bar height as in this picture - it's less climbing

I'd like the beams to be white. I like the color of the island here. Maybe it can be worked into the back-splash or wall paint.

What does Yoni think of the floor color here? Too light and reddish?
Can there be a level down on the island, like here, so that the kids don't have to sit so high up?
This might be similar to what our kitchen will look like from the family room/dining room. I like the lights over the island, though I wonder if the bulb will look too bright when it's on. I don't like the glass cabinets, and I don't think I like the two different types of cabinet handles. I think I just want the long thing handles. I would prefer a lighter paint on the island cabinet -- maybe gray. I like the ceiling beam that separates the kitchen from the back room. I also like the floor in this picture.

Possibly something like this with the beam look in the dining room/family roon.

again, the gray island looks nice against the white cabinets. also, the detail above the stove is interesting. can't decide whether i like it.

Does Yoni like the design in the box? we could do something like that under the oven range, but have the rest of the backsplash plain white subway tile
I think I like the contrast between the cabinets and counters here. i might also have the island be the color of the counters
