May like leg detail between floor and cabinets, except it draws attention downward. Like shelf above refrigerator and small glass cabinets. Like tile.

Q

Photo

too much tile -- too busy

Q

Photo

Now I don't like this detail on corners of island.

Q

Photo

Like hood

Q

Photo

This is the kind of divider I was talking about to divide the family room from breakfast room/kitchen areas.

Q

Photo

If gray counter, should island cabinets be gray too, or would white cabinets look good

Q

Photo

Don't like space between cabinets and hood.

Q

Photo

Maybe small hood is okay since it allows for more cabinet space, rather than leaving wider space (over stove and counter on either side).

Q

Photo

Like the idea of putting pictures or something on mantle above stove.

Q

Photo

Like the hood

Q

Photo

Like hood detail

Q

Photo

Like that wide mantle make hood appear wider than stove top because mantle covers counter on either side too.

Q

Photo

Dark countertops with light island looks good!

Q

Photo

Maybe like the small glass cabinets up top to break up all of the other cabinets.

Q

Photo

Maybe I like the detail on the corners of the island.

Q

Photo

Should we have a little desk area between the counter and the opening to the hallway?

Q

Photo

Seeing this, I don't think we should divide the kitchen and breakfast room with an archway. But I think we should divide off the family room, except I like a straight one rather than an arch.

Q

Photo

Looks like dark countertops with white marble island can work well!

Q

Photo

Like hood, cabinets, ceiling and thickness of marble countertops.

Q

Photo

Hood looks too small

Q

Photo

like beveling on island marble, sort of like island design, except don't need wine holders and don't like choice of posts.

Q

Photo

nice light fixtures and hidden hood

Q

Photo
Photo

love ceiling and windows

Q

Photo

Love idea of hiding microwave like this!

Q

Photo

Like the idea of hanging lights. Like the hood with the glass cabinets on either side

Q

Photo

We could have a couple glass cabinets for nice dishes and wine glasses

Q

Photo

Maybe a stove hood hidden by something that looks the cabinets is nice...

Q

Photo

Great drawer under sink!

Q

Photo

Love the archway - Use to divide kitchen from breakfast room and breakfast room from family room? Like the windows and cabinets, except need all cabinets to be functional, not decorative.

Q

Photo

This is a good idea!

Q

Photo

Should we do something like this with shelves and columns to divide the family room area from the kitchen/breakfast room? I like the ceiling moldings too.

Love detail around window and tile to ceiling
