Harold's Cross - Merging Nature with Interior Spaces
This project involved the transformation of a period home in Harold’s Cross through a carefully considered rear single-storey extension and a full internal reconfiguration. The primary objective was to create a bright, airy, and contemporary open-plan living space that seamlessly connects to the garden—blurring the boundaries between inside and out. The design strategy was grounded in a deep respect for the character and heritage of the original structure, ensuring that the new addition complements rather than competes with the existing house. The result is a harmonious blend of old and new, where natural light, spatial flow, and material continuity play a central role in modern family living.
