'Billard's Key' was purchased by a client to restore, renovate and sell on as an investment property. K Mackay found the property, acted as the buyer's agent, project manager, and designer. Restoring the original 1860s barn into a Rustic Modern home with open living concept (initially 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms). Showcasing the incredible location and views of '5 Mile River' in Rowayton CT in 2013. K Mackay then conceptualized and managed the build of an addition that added a 2.5 car garage, mudroom, 2 bedrooms and bathroom to the front of the property in 2014/15. The original structure was then designated as a Historical home by the Rowayton Historical Society. The house was sold for a considerable profit in Winter 2016. The next owners then completed the third phase of construction after purchasing the property in 2016, adding a great room, wine cellar and lower level Rec room and Master suite with open deck that K Mackay had originally conceptualized.
