16 Linda Lane - Transitional New England Colonial Style
A 4500 sq ft traditional Darien, Connecticut Stone and Clapboard House on 3.5 acres. This house was bought in 2007 and extensively renovated from 2007 to 2010 then sold in 2012. The front facade was changed from clapboard to wood shingle. It was re-landscaped and the driveway was 'oil & stoned' to give an 'English Country Estate' feel. There was an inground salt-water pool, bridge, chicken coop, and vegetable garden installed on the property, along with extensive plantings and a traditional privet hedge. Every surface of the inside was also changed including 3 full and 2 half bathrooms, Kitchen, Library, Dining Room, Living Room, 4 Bedrooms, Upper Hall, Entranceway, Sunroom, Basement playroom, and Laundry/Mud Room all receiving a complete makeover. Here are just a few of the before and after pictures from this project.
