Removal of internal walls

Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice please on removing internal walls to create open plan space between kitchen & living room.

Wanting to double check whether these are structural or not. Wall running parallel to ceiling beams (green circle) separates the living
room/kitchen.

2nd wall (red arrow) separates entrance from kitchen & runs perpendicular to beams.

Any help would be mu ch appreciated

You have to check that the much thicker upstairs floor joists are held up by something other than these thin supports. Most likely the floor joists are built into the block work of the side wall and the walls you are talking about serve no structural purpose.

Thank you, so floor joists (as you mentioned) run side to side into the the brickwork

Another option that I was thinking of, knock the internal glass walls of the conservatory and make the hall smaller - this leaves a very large open plan space (9m x 6.4m) but I have no idea how best a space like this could be used?? Can anyone give me their thoughts here? Need to move if I am to make an offer
