Thermal plasterboard- every wall?

Hello all,

Have recently bought our first property, and in the tricky stages of having a tight budget, and a load of work to do.

I'm pretty handy, so fitting thermal plasterboard isn't too daunting- the question is cost effectiveness.

Hypothetically, will covering one of two external walls in a room (The one without the radiator and window) with a 50mm insulated board have an impact on the warmth retention of the room, or is it worth saving up until I can cover all external walls? - the property is a 1930's purpose build flat - so concrete floors/ ceilings and solid walls.

Obviously this saves me money as I don't need to worry about moving a radiator or fiddly offcuts and new window sill.

Thoughts? or has anyone experimented with this?
