What size fan insert should be installed in a 36" wood range hood? I am having trouble finding a definite answer to this. I was going to purchase a 36" insert but then read that it should be smaller. Would a 30" insert work?
they size them down. if you look at 36" insert, it will be a bit smaller. (just look at the actual dimensions of the unit)
I just got the this one from GE it says 36" insert, but it's actually 34.3" . I had my hood built around it
btw, love it. tons of light, fan is quiet
