Can any one knows what the color of the rug cuz I saw gray and on the other picture I saw white? I'm confused

Thanks for your inquiry on the rug. The rug is a silk bamboo rug and depending on the direction that it is laid... the colors change. I hope that this helps you. Thanks for viewing my work. Dennese

Would you consider painting your stair railings it would look stunning with soft white paneling and a warm colour on top and in hindsight maybe it wont need a rug..?

I live in a rented property so unfortunately I’m not permitted to paint the walls. I’m stuck with a boring magnolia on the walls in the living room. The floors are a light wood and the sofas are dark brown leather. I have bought this rug - see photo. I would like to add some nice curtains and cushions to make the room warm and cosy but I’m not sure what colours to go for. Any advice much appreciated, thank you.
