The sky's the limit here. I would personally go with a fun textured or graphic wallpaper, maybe something elegant with some metallics not the design or small glass beads and paint the wainscoting in a complementary color - anything from white to black. You could even do the wainscoting in. Distressed finish depending on the look you go for.

New en suite and dressing room/relaxing area

We have a large bedroom; we walk into another room 350 cm x 550 cm to gain access to this bedroom (incl. ensuite 350 x 100cm stud wall). We would like to change the aforementioned room and ensuite into a spacious en suite and a dressing room/relaxation area making this entirely our 'boudoir', as it will be all contained in one area of the house. I'd go for a warm light grey picking out the colour in the stone fire surround - have a look at Little Green Paint company's Portland Stone it comes in three depths of colour and looks beautifully restful. Then dress it with natural plants!

To sconce or not to sconce... Narrow Powder Room

Looking for lighting suggestions for 3' 10" (46") x 7'10" powder room with 9 ft ceilings. I've found several great examples but not sure of the dimension/scale. With 9' ceiling, would you go with hanging pendant/s or sconces? There is a also huge 3x5 window as well, so plenty of natural light.
