Can electric or ethanol fueled fireplaces be installed under tv's?

    Electric certainly. But go with the leader Dimplex for the ultimate electric fireplace either Opti-Myst or Opti-V models. Ethanol, units I am not sure you would need to consult the manufacturer of the TV I would imagine. Gas models can be installed below TV's but there is a certain clearance and sometimes a shelf or deflector shield of some sort must be used to divert the heat away from the TV.     Also with gas units the manufacturers recommend the use of blowers with prefab fireplaces to blow the heat away from the fireplace.
